Opus Precision Instruments Pte Ltd was established in 1992 and began as a local distributor of a wide range of precision measuring instruments. To cater to customer needs, Opus offers an extensive product range including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread and plain plug gauges, microscopes, video measuring systems, CMMs, and many others. Opus continuously reviews and enhances its products and services to meet evolving market demands.
In 2004, Opus established a calibration laboratory at Ubi Crescent for the calibration of dimensional and force measuring instruments. In addition, the company provides repair services for electronic, dimensional, force, and temperature measuring instruments.
The calibration laboratory is equipped with the latest high-precision measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Its quality management system and documentation have been assessed and accredited by the Singapore Accreditation Council in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025. As precision measurement equipment is critical to customers’ quality and production goals, all calibrations are performed in strict compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements. Furthermore, calibration equipment is regularly sent for proficiency testing to validate calibration methods and measurement uncertainty.
Opus’s business network is rapidly expanding across Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and China.
